Trendyol Super League team Antalyaspor, which parted ways with Alex de Souza, has announced its new head coach.

MEDITERRANEAN TEAM ENTRUSTED TO EMRE BELÖZOĞLU

The Mediterranean team has appointed Emre Belözoğlu, who last managed MKE Ankaragücü, as their head coach. The red-and-white team signed a 1.5-year contract with the 44-year-old young coach.

The statement from the club is as follows;

"Our Onvo Antalyaspor has signed a 1.5-year contract with Head Coach Emre Belözoğlu. We welcome our Head Coach and wish him success under our red-and-white emblem."

EMRE'S COACHING CAREER

The 44-year-old coach, who last worked at MKE Ankaragücü, left the capital team in July 2024. After serving as an interim coach at Fenerbahçe, Belözoğlu managed RAMS Başakşehir from 2021 to 2023.

ANTALYASPOR'S SITUATION

Antalyaspor is currently in 13th place in the Trendyol Super League, having achieved 9 wins, 3 draws, and 9 losses in 18 matches, accumulating a total of 21 points. In the Turkish Cup, the Mediterranean team, which advanced to the group stage, managed to win its first match in the group.
