Encouragement for educated child caregivers! Monthly support of 325 euros has started for 3,500 mothers.

Payment will be made to educated female caregivers who take care of their children in order for mothers to continue their working life with the European Union project. Thus, it is aimed to keep women with children and caregivers employed.

Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Security Lütfihak Alpkan, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and EU President Ambassador Mehmet Kemal Bozay, Deputy Head of the EU Turkey Delegation Ambassador, Undersecretary Jurgis Vilcinskas, Deputy Chairman of SGK İsmail Ertüzün and invitees attended the program held at a hotel.

"CONSTRUCTION AND MANUFACTURING SECTORS HAVE THE LEAST FEMALE EMPLOYMENT"

Deputy Minister Alpkan stated that the project is important in terms of increasing registered female employment and emphasized that employment has gained momentum in the last 4 years with the steps taken and projects implemented. Alpkan pointed out that manufacturing and construction are the sectors with the least female participation in employment and stated that there is still a long way to go in this field.

İŞ POZİTİF WAS IMPLEMENTED IN FEBRUARY

Alpkan stated that the Ministry of Labor and Social Security's efforts to increase female employment continue to increase and reminded that İş Pozitif was implemented in February to make the increase in women's workforce participation and the reduction of unemployment sustainable.

325 EURO SUPPORT WILL LAST FOR 12 MONTHS

With the project, the employment of 3,500 women with children aged 0-36 months and 3,500 female caregivers in Ankara, Istanbul, and Izmir will be supported for 12 months. Mothers will be provided with a monthly support of 325 euros on the condition that they employ a certified child caregiver and work in a registered job.
