Enterprise Becomes Turkish Airlines' Car Rental Partner

Passengers can easily rent a car from Enterprise Holdings through official website of airline, flag carrier says.

Turkish Airlines announced Wednesday that it signed a new agreement with Enterprise Holdings, the world's largest car rental company.

"Turkish Airlines passengers can easily rent a car from the Enterprise, National and Alamo brands through the official website of the airline; www.turkishairlines.com and its mobile apps," the national flag-carrier said in a press release.

The airline's passengers will also have the opportunity to rent a car with discounted prices through special campaigns to be organized in certain periods, according to the statement.

"As a prominent airline, famous with its wide network and its high-quality services, we're glad to collaborate with the Enterprise Holdings, another prominent brand in its field," said Ilker Ayci, the airline's chairman of the board and the executive committee.

He added that he was sure that this partnership would be beneficial for both sides.

Mike Nigro, Head of European Operations at Enterprise Holdings, said they were pleased to become Turkish Airlines' worldwide car rental partner.

"We believe this is just the beginning of a successful partnership," he added.

With its global subsidiaries and independent franchises, Enterprise Holdings embraces Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car brands. It has the largest fleet in the car rental industry with more than 1.9 million vehicles and 97,000 employees worldwide, according to the press release.

Turkish Airlines flies to over 300 destinations worldwide with its fleet of 329 passenger and cargo aircraft.

According to the 2017 Skytrax survey, Turkish Airlines, already having been named the Best Airline in Europe between 2011 and 2016, has now been chosen as the Best Airline in Southern Europe for the ninth year in a row. -
