It has been reported that President Erdoğan stated at the AK Party's Central Decision and Executive Board (MKYK) meeting regarding the tragedy in which 78 people lost their lives, "Whoever is responsible for the hotel fire, even if it is our friend who made a mistake, everyone will face the consequences." The message conveyed by Erdoğan's use of the phrase "even if it is our friend" drew attention, especially after MHP leader Bahçeli pointed to Culture and Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy.
The AK Party's Central Decision and Executive Board (MKYK) met yesterday under the chairmanship of President and AK Party Chairman Erdoğan. According to information obtained from AK Party sources, the ministers present at the meeting took the floor in response to questions.
MINISTER ERSOY: REGULATIONS ON FIRE DEPARTMENT INSPECTIONS ARE NECESSARY
Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy stated that there is no mandatory period for fire department inspections related to the hotel fire in Kartalkaya, and that this definitely needs to be regulated.
MINISTER IŞIKHAN: 4 INSPECTORS ARE MONITORING THE PROCESS
Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç explained the entire chronological order regarding the events in Kartalkaya. Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan stated that they have assigned 4 inspectors and are monitoring the process.
A BILL WILL BE SUBMITTED
AK Party Group Chairman Abdullah Güler stated that they will submit a bill to establish a research commission in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) regarding the fire at the Kartalkaya Ski Resort.

It was reported that President Erdoğan stated regarding the fire that claimed the lives of 78 people, "Whoever it may be in the hotel fire, even if it is our friend who is at fault, everyone will face consequences."
BAHÇELİ ALSO POINTED TO MINISTER ERSOY
Additionally, MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, speaking at his party's group meeting today, made evaluations regarding the hotel fire in Bolu Kartalkaya, which resulted in the deaths of 78 people.
Bahçeli stated that Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy has responsibility in the incident, saying, "I must express that we do not find it right for the relevant ministry to act as if nothing has happened and to refrain from self-criticism."
