Erdoğan: The rules for opening nurseries and kindergartens are clear; no one can say 'I do not comply with the laws.'

27.11.2024 13:30

In his speech at the AK Party group meeting, President Erdoğan addressed the ongoing daycare discussions with the CHP. Erdoğan stated, "The CHP is once again resorting to exploitative politics regarding daycare. The CHP Chairman is challenging us with nonsensical statements in his own way. They haven't read the letter from the ministry, but they are quite skilled at shouting that they are being obstructed. Even if they read it, they can't escape their habit of lying. Turkey is a state governed by law. The conditions for opening daycare centers and kindergartens are clear. No one can say, 'I don't follow the rules.'"

President Erdoğan spoke at his party's group meeting in the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM). Erdoğan, who joined the debate regarding claims that the nurseries opened by municipalities would be closed, responded harshly to the CHP.

"THE CHP CHAIRMAN IS CHALLENGING US IN HIS OWN WAY"

President Erdoğan stated, "The CHP is once again resorting to exploitative politics regarding nurseries. The CHP Chairman is challenging us in his own way with nonsensical statements. Their new chairman is no different from the previous one. He sends a letter reminding that nursery services cannot be provided in the nurseries they operate. Behind this warning lies the regulation that the CHP has taken to the Constitutional Court. They resort to exploitative politics on an issue for which they themselves are responsible, like student scholarships. When ignorance and arrogance come together, it becomes unbearable.

"TURKEY IS A STATE OF LAW"

The picture presented by the CHP and some mayors is exactly this. They don't even know the distinction between kindergarten and nursery. They haven't read the letter from the ministry, but they are quite skilled at shouting that they are being obstructed. Even if they read it, they cannot escape their habit of lying. Turkey is a state of law. The conditions for opening nurseries and kindergartens are clear. No one can say, 'I don't follow the rules.' They are cowardly and desperate enough to hide behind children in the name of political opportunism," he expressed.
