President Erdogan, speaking at the High Technology Incentive Program Introduction Meeting, listed the new incentive packages, including a flexible model aimed at bringing R&D centers to Turkey, to investors. Erdogan announced a 30 billion dollar incentive package in high-tech manufacturing areas, including electric car and chip production.

President Erdogan announced the details of the High Technology Investment Program. Erdogan said they aim to bring $20 billion worth of investment to the country with a 6-point call. Erdogan stated that the Turkish economy is undergoing a transformation and said, "Our business world should know that our economy will rise to a different league at the end of this process. Turkey will be the forward of the new era."

Here are the highlights from President Erdogan's presentation: "The steps taken by foreseeing the future in the great transformation process are important for Turkey's goals. Even looking at the recent crises shows that the system has already raised the bankruptcy flag."

We are doing whatever it takes for our country to be affected as little as possible by the global economic storm. The recently announced data shows that we are on the right track. The confidence of foreign market actors in the Turkish economy is also increasing. We are taking the necessary steps to improve the investment environment. Our domestic and national electric car Togg is now on the roads. Despite the mudslinging, we have reached our goal. The determination we showed in Togg became an inspiration for other sectors. We recently signed an investment agreement exceeding $1 billion with BYD. Our negotiations with other companies are ongoing. We will see a stronger revival in international direct investments in the coming period."

"TURKEY WILL BE THE FORWARD OF THE NEW ERA"

We want to attract more investments based on high technology to our country. We are implementing new incentive and financing instruments. We have provided $750 million in financing to industrialists, SMEs, and green technology ventures. The Turkish economy is undergoing a transformation. Our business world should know that our economy will rise to a different league at the end of this process. Turkey will be the forward of the new era.

4 CONDITIONS FOR INVESTMENT SUPPORT

The HIT-30 program will play an important role as a milestone. We aim for high technology investment to become the focal point by reinforcing the advantages for high-tech and high-value-added new investments until 2030. We will provide qualified support for investments. We will look at the focus on new technologies, economic scale for competition, technical competence, and technological gain. In addition to project-based incentives, we will offer attractive financing opportunities for these investments.

6-POINT CALL TO INVESTORS

We are sharing 6 calls. The first one is the HIT electric vehicles call. We are implementing a $5 billion incentive package that aims to increase production capacity in this field to at least 1 million units annually. With these investments, we aim to prepare the industry for the future along with its sub-industry.
