European stock exchanges closed with gains on Wednesday.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, was up 3.06 points, or 0.59%, to finish at 524.71.
The UK's FTSE 100 rose 17 points, or 0.21%, to close at almost 8,445 and Germany's DAX 30 added almost 153 points, or 0.82%, to 18,869.
France's CAC 40 increased 14 points, or 0.17%, to close at almost 8,240 at the final bell.
Italy's FTSE MIB was up 214 points, or 0.61%, to end the session at 35,366.
Spain's IBEX 35 was the best performer of the day, rising 123 points, or 1.1%, to finish at 11,362. -
