Turkey was shaken by the 'Newborn Gang' scandal. As a result of the investigation conducted by the Organized Crimes and Terror Crimes Investigation Office of the Büyükçekmece Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was determined that 47 suspects, including doctors and nurses, who acted in concert with individuals working at the 112 Emergency Call Center in Istanbul, transferred emergency baby patients to the newborn units of private hospitals they had previously agreed upon, causing their deaths and obtaining unjust profits. HOSPITAL LICENSES ARE BEING REVOKED
The licenses of the hospitals mentioned in the investigation related to the gang that transferred emergency baby patients to the newborn units of private hospitals they had previously agreed upon and caused their deaths are being revoked one by one. While the Ministry of Health's investigation into the hospitals mentioned in the investigation continues, the licenses of 7 more hospitals have been revoked following Bağcılar Private Şafak Hospital and Medilife Health Services.
