THE ARGUMENT TURNED INTO A MASSACRE
The incident occurred at a house in the Konuklu Neighborhood of the Haliliye district in Şanlıurfa. An argument broke out for a still unknown reason between H.D., his mother Huriye Çiçekli (43), and his sister Zeynep Demircan (23).
After the argument escalated, H.D. opened fire with a shotgun on his mother and sisters. Following the gunshots, police and medical teams were dispatched to the address upon a report.
MOTHER AND DAUGHTER LOST THEIR LIVES
During the check conducted by medical teams arriving at the scene, it was determined that 23-year-old Zeynep Demircan had lost her life. The mother Huriye Çiçekli, who was injured in the attack, and the other 11-year-old sister M.N.D. were taken to the hospital by ambulances.
The seriously injured mother Huriye Çiçekli could not be saved despite all the doctors' interventions at the hospital. It was learned that the injured 11-year-old M.N.D. was taken to the hospital.
CAUGHT AT THE ADDRESS WHERE HE WAS HIDING
After the incident, teams from the Homicide Bureau of the Provincial Police Department launched an operation to catch the suspect H.D.
Police teams caught H.D. at the address where he was hiding and took him into custody.
