German fitness influencer Edda Elisa was denied boarding by Lufthansa, Germany's largest airline, on the grounds that her outfit was "not suitable for flight." The influencer stated that the staff told her, "You are naked," and she had to put on an additional garment to be allowed to fly.
German influencer Edda Elisa, who has reached a wide following with her fitness content on social media, faced an unexpected crisis during her latest trip. While heading to the airport to fly with Germany's flag carrier airline Lufthansa, Elisa was stopped by officials because her outfit was deemed against the rules.
"YOU HAVE NOTHING ON, YOU ARE NAKED"
The famous influencer, who shared her ordeal with her followers in a video posted on her social media account, expressed her great shock at the warnings from the airline officials.
Elisa stated that the officials absolutely did not allow her to board the plane in her current outfit and demanded additional clothing, recounting what was said to her in those moments with these words:
"You have nothing on, you are naked. You are not wearing normal clothes; you need to get something on. If you put something on, you can pass."
"I HAD TO DRESS TO FLY"
The influencer, who did not think her outfit posed an obstacle to the flight, found herself helpless in the face of the officials' strict stance. Stating that she was forced to back down in order not to cancel her planned trip and to board the plane, Edda Elisa summarized those moments with this sentence:
