Fenerbahçe canceled the season ticket of the fan leader who threatened the club.

Fenerbahçe announced that it has canceled the season ticket of Volkan Yücesan, the leader of the fan group UTG, due to threatening posts and has filed a criminal complaint.

HERE IS FENERBAHÇE'S STATEMENT

"There is no place for the mentality that targets our Club and Football Team with open and blatant threat messages on social media under the roof of Fenerbahçe, and it cannot be.

In this context, a person who has called for attacks by saying, 'Shall we raid the facility, shall we raid the club building, shall we beat the player?' has been reported to the Prosecutor's Office by our Club after receiving reflections on social media and then deleting this post.

This person's season ticket has also been canceled.

While we always respect criticisms; we do not accept this threatening approach in any way.

This step we have taken is entirely a decision made in line with this person's statements.

Volkan Yücesan, the leader of the fan group UTG, used the expressions "Shall we raid the facility, shall we raid the club building, shall we beat the player? What do you want from us? You took our only love away from us. Think about it, leave us alone now" in a post he made on his X account.

WHAT HAPPENED AT FENERBAHÇE

Fenerbahçe hosted the Spanish representative Athletic Bilbao in the 6th week of the UEFA Europa League. The yellow-blues lost the match 2-0, and the fans reacted to president Ali Koç during the match.

The yellow-blues fans called for Ali Koç to resign after the second goal conceded at the end of the first half against Bilbao. The fans in Kadıköy chanted "Ali Koç resign" for a while. Additionally, Fenerbahçe supporters also reacted to the team, which went into the locker room 2-0 down after the final whistle of the first half.
