The possible opponents of Fenerbahçe, who finished the season in second place in the Süper Lig, in the UEFA Champions League 2nd Qualifying Round have been determined.
Fenerbahçe, who finished the season second in the Süper Lig, have learned their potential opponents in the UEFA Champions League 2nd Qualifying Round.
CURRENT POTENTIAL OPPONENTS
Fenerbahçe's potential opponents confirmed so far are Sturm Graz from Austria, Hearts from Scotland, and the Polish League runner-up (Gornik Zabrze, Jagiellonia, or Rakow).
ASTON VILLA COULD RESHUFFLE THE CARDS
If Aston Villa wins the UEFA Europa League final and finishes 4th in the Premier League (currently 4th with 3 points ahead of 5th-placed Liverpool with one week remaining), Bodo/Glimt and Olympiakos, who are in the 2nd Qualifying Round, will automatically advance to the next round, thus removing Sturm Graz from Fenerbahçe's potential opponents. If Aston Villa wins the UEFA Europa League and finishes in the top 4 of the Premier League, Fenerbahçe's potential opponents will be Hearts and the Polish League runner-up.
DRAW AND MATCH SCHEDULE
The draw that will determine Fenerbahçe's fate in Europe will be held on June 17, 2026. Following the draw, the yellow-navy team will take to the field, playing their first match in the 2nd qualifying round on July 21-22, 2026, and the return leg on July 28-29, 2026, as they fight to advance to the next round.
