A fight broke out bloodily in the Ereğli district of Zonguldak between a man, who reportedly came to see his ex-girlfriend, and the young woman's relatives. Barboros Y., who claimed to have been assaulted, grabbed a pair of scissors at a workplace where he took shelter and injured one person. Two people were taken to the hospital, and police launched an investigation.
ARGUMENT QUICKLY TURNED INTO A FIGHT
The incident occurred in the Orhanlar neighborhood near Orta Mosque. According to claims, Barboros Y. came from out of town and wanted to meet his ex-girlfriend Şirin Y. The argument that started between the pair escalated when Şirin Y.'s relatives, Engin Ç. and Murat Ç., joined in.
TOOK SHELTER IN A SHOP
The growing argument between the parties quickly turned into a fight. During the scuffle, Barboros Y., who claimed to have been beaten, took shelter in a nearby frame shop. However, the fight continued inside the workplace.
INJURED WITH SCISSORS
According to claims, Barboros Y. injured Murat Ç. with a pair of scissors he grabbed in the shop. Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.
Barboros Y. and Murat Ç., who were injured in the fight, were taken to different hospitals by ambulances and placed under treatment.
Police teams launched an investigation into the incident.
