In the Pamukkale district of Denizli, two people stabbed each other with knives during a fight that broke out after a street wedding due to gathering belongings. One of the injured, who were taken to the hospital, lost their life, while the other was arrested and sent to prison after treatment.
In the Deliktaş neighborhood of Denizli's Pamukkale district, a dispute broke out on the street between Ramazan Ülgen, who was reportedly under the influence of alcohol, and Ahmet Karaca over collecting belongings after a wedding.
KNIVES DRAWN: 1 DEAD, 1 INJURED
The argument turned into a fight. In the fight where knives were used, Karaca and Ülgen injured each other. Upon reports from bystanders, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Karaca, injured in the abdomen, was taken to Denizli State Hospital, while Ülgen, lightly injured in the hand, was taken to Pamukkale University Hospital for treatment. Karaca, whose condition was serious, could not be saved despite doctors' interventions.
SENT TO PRISON
Ramazan Ülgen was taken into custody by police after completing his hospital treatment. After processing at the police station, Ülgen was referred to the courthouse and arrested by the court.
