The dense smoke caused by a fire that broke out in the parking lot of a complex in Istanbul's Esenyurt district engulfed the entire building. While those trapped in the building were rescued by fire crews, 42 people were affected by the smoke. A fire broke out for an unknown reason in the parking lot of a residential complex located in Yeşilkent Neighborhood, Esenyurt district of Istanbul.
42 PEOPLE TRAPPED
The smoke rising from a vehicle in the parking lot engulfed the building. Upon the notification, police, fire brigade, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The fire was brought under control and extinguished by the intervention of the fire brigade teams. The fire brigade teams evacuated 42 people who were trapped in the apartment building due to the heavy smoke. Of the 42 people affected by the smoke, 27 were taken to nearby hospitals by ambulances after initial intervention. Police teams launched an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
