NARIN'S BROTHER WAS THE FIRST TO BE DETAINEDThe first person to be detained in connection with the disappearance of 8-year-old Narin was her brother. However, the brother was released. The 18-year-old brother was detained due to bite marks on his arm. Jaw structure samples obtained from photos of Narin were sent to the Istanbul Forensic Medicine Institute for comparison. However, no evidence was obtained regarding the ownership of the bite mark. Therefore, the brother was released. HIS UNCLE WAS ARRESTEDOn the 11th day of the search for missing Narin, news of a new arrest came. Narin's uncle, who is also the muhtar of Tavşantepe Neighborhood, Salim Güran, was taken into custody. Salim Güran was arrested at the court hearing. The reason for the arrest was cited as deprivation of liberty and intentional murder. Salim Güran's lawyer reacted to the decision in court. WHY WAS HE ARRESTED?Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç made a statement regarding the detention of Uncle Salim Güran, saying, "All state institutions have mobilized. Statements are being taken, and arrests are being made based on those statements. There are DNA tests. The arrest warrant was issued due to the match between the DNA of Narin's parents and the uncle's DNA in the car."
