Five people lost their lives in the car that caught fire after crashing into a construction vehicle in the Ergene district of Tekirdağ.

TURNED INTO A PILE OF METAL

The accident occurred around 00:30 in the Ulaş neighborhood of Ergene district on the D-100 highway. The car with license plate 59 FV 888, whose driver has not yet been identified, crashed into the construction vehicle driven by Ö.A. from behind while traveling in the same direction. The car turned into a pile of metal due to the force of the impact and caught fire.

5 PEOPLE LOST THEIR LIVES

Upon receiving reports from witnesses of the accident, gendarmerie, health, and fire teams were dispatched to the area. The fire in the car, which had turned into a ball of flames, was extinguished by the fire teams. Health teams determined that the five people in the car had lost their lives during their examination.

IDENTITIES REVEALED

The lifeless bodies of the five people who died in the accident, whose identities have not yet been determined, were taken to the Çorlu State Hospital morgue. The gendarmerie detained the construction vehicle driver Ö.A. and launched an investigation into the accident. The passengers Kadir Güler, Emre Ağır, Serhat Tunus, Deniz Yalnız, and the driver Cenk Varnalı lost their lives due to the impact.
