The number of fatalities due to the floods in the state of Kentucky, USA, has reached 10. Increased rainfall in Kentucky and Georgia has caused significant damage in some areas, while search and rescue operations are ongoing.

Officials from Kentucky and Georgia announced that 2 more people died due to the floods that occurred over the weekend, bringing the total to 10.

Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear shared that 9 people have died due to the floods and more than 1,000 people have been rescued.
