Food fraudsters have mixed pharmaceutical active ingredients into sugar and beverages.

The list of companies selling fake and misleading products has been updated in the inspections of the Ministry of Food, Agriculture, and Livestock. With the newly added names, these fraudsters, who disregard consumer health, have been announced to the public by the ministry.

The list of foods that pose a health risk includes flavored candies, carbonated flavored beverages, and herbal capsules where medicinal active ingredients have been detected.

In the list of foods that have been imitated or adulterated, seed oils have again been detected in olive oil.

It has been emphasized that consumers need to be more cautious against such companies.
