While stating that he claimed to be a courier to get Kanbur to open the door, footage from the day of the incident showing his journey from Avcılar to Mecidiyeköy by metrobus has also emerged.
Bülent Gündüz, one of the suspects detained in connection with the murder of Aynur Kanbur, a dancer from the 'Mezdeke group' killed 10 years ago in Şişli, confessed to the murder in his statement. Gündüz, who said he killed his relative Aynur Kanbur because she worked as a dancer, reportedly stated, 'I came from Avcılar to her apartment by metrobus. I had her open the door posing as a courier, then committed the murder. I walked to Beşiktaş, threw the gun into the sea there, and returned.'

Eventually, the name of Bülent Gündüz, identified as a relative of the murdered Aynur Kanbur, was reached. When the police placed this person under surveillance, it was determined that his movements matched those of the killer.

After throwing the gun into the sea there, I returned home.'
