Barcelona top La Liga despite two draws in a row, Italy’s Juventus top Serie A, Paris SG at top in France’s Ligue 1.

Liverpool in Premier League, Barcelona in La Liga, Juventus in Serie A, Borussia Dortmund in Bundesliga and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in Ligue 1 continue to top their leagues following the latest games in top five European football leagues over the weekend.



In the English Premier League, the reigning champion Manchester City beat Chelsea 6-0 to win 3 matches in a row and reach 65 points while the runner-up Liverpool with the same points defeated Bournemouth 3-0.



The leader Manchester City played 27 matches in the league while Liverpool played 26 matches.



Tottenham also beat Leicester City 3-1 while Manchester United defeated Fulham 3-0.



In Spanish football league La Liga, Barcelona drew Athletic Bilbao 0-0 but they remained at the top of the league with 51 points.



Real Madrid beat Atletico Madrid 3-1 to win 5 matches in a row, while Sevilla drew Eibar 2-2. Real Madrid cut the deficit to six points with leader Barcelona.



The leader Barcelona are followed by Real Madrid with 45 points, trailed by Atletico Madrid with 44 points.



In Italy's Serie A, leader Juventus are at the top of the league with 63 points after beating Sassuolo 3-0 to win 20 out of 23 matches.



Runner-up Napoli drew Fiorentina 0-0 to and increased the gap with the leader by reaching 52 points.



In Germany's Bundesliga, the leader Borussia Dortmund drew Hoffenheim 3-3 to reach 50 points while reigning champion Bayern Munich defeated Schalke 04 3-1.



Bayern Munich are now five points away from top of the league.



In France's Ligue 1, leader PSG beat Bordeaux 1-0 while Lille defeated Guingamp 2-0 and Olympique Lyon were defeated by Nice 1-0.



PSG are very strong at the top of the league with 59 points followed by Lille with 49 points and Olympique Lyon with 43 points. -
