Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan made statements following the death of FETÖ leader Fethullah Gülen. Fidan stated, "Our intelligence sources confirm the development. Gülen's death will not lead to complacency on our part; our state will continue to fight against this organization."

Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan hosted Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha in Ankara. After the meeting, Minister Fidan answered questions from the press regarding the death of FETÖ leader Fethullah Gülen.

Minister Fidan stated, "Our intelligence sources also confirm the death of FETÖ organization leader Fethullah Gülen. Gülen's death will not make us complacent; our state will continue to fight against this organization. FETÖ members should turn back from this betrayal while there is still time. The end of this road is not good for them."
