Foreign Minister Fidan's message on PKK/YPG: The new administration will take appropriate steps.

After MIT President İbrahim Kalın, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan also went to Syria. Minister Fidan met with the leader of the new administration, Ahmed Eş Şara, in the capital, Damascus. The two leaders made statements in front of the cameras after their meeting.

Minister Fidan gave a clear answer to a question regarding the PKK/YPG terrorist organization. Stating that there is no place for the terrorist organization in Syria, Minister Fidan said that the new administration will do what is necessary. Minister Fidan stated, "There is no place for PKK/YPG in Syria. The new administration will take the appropriate steps."
