Forest Fire in Bingöl: Firefighting Efforts Continue

A forest fire broke out in 2 regions in Bingöl's Genç and Kiğı districts. The teams are continuing their efforts to extinguish the fire.

A forest fire broke out in the villages of Döşekkaya in Genç district and Darköprü in Kiğı district during the afternoon hours for unknown reasons. Firefighters, Forestry Directorate and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the regions to extinguish the growing fires, which were also fueled by the wind. A total of 5 fire trucks, 2 first intervention vehicles, 4 construction vehicles, 3 fire trucks, and 45 personnel were sent to the 2 regions for extinguishing efforts. In addition, gendarmerie, municipality, and special administration teams also participated in the fire extinguishing efforts.

The teams are continuing their efforts to extinguish the fires.
