In the TBMM General Assembly convened under the chairmanship of Deputy Speaker of Parliament Celal Adan, discussions on the Draft Law on Strengthening National Solidarity and Social Integration, prepared within the scope of the "Terror-Free Turkey" process, have begun.
AK Party Gaziantep Deputy Abdulhamit Gül made evaluations on the general proposal on his behalf. Gül noted that the "Terror-Free Turkey" process could be discussed thanks to the sacrifices of martyrs and veterans, and thanked President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, TBMM Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş, as well as political party leaders and deputies for their contributions to the process.
"A HISTORICAL COMPROMISE"
Gül said that the submission of the "Draft Law on Strengthening National Solidarity and Social Integration" with the signatures of 367 deputies is an indication of a historical compromise and political consensus. Stating that the international system has collapsed, Gül stated that Turkey and the Gazi Parliament will lead a new world order where global peace and justice will be ensured.
Abdulhamit Gül stated that Turkey has been fighting terrorism for 50 years and emphasized that the country's greatest strength is the unity and solidarity of 86 million people.
"OUR GREATEST ARBITER IS THE NATION ITSELF"
Gül stated that the draft law was prepared with a great consensus in the commission and noted that critical thresholds have been determined regarding ending the de facto existence of all PKK/KCK and affiliated organizations, the surrender of weapons, and the supervision of the process by security institutions and the TBMM. Gül spoke as follows:
"The TBMM will monitor the process; there is a committee we mentioned. This committee, chaired by the Vice President, includes the Minister of National Defense, Minister of Interior, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Justice, Head of MIT, and the Presidential and MGK General Secretariat; we are establishing a commission in Parliament to monitor the work of this entire committee. Our greatest arbiter here is the nation itself. There have been many international conflict resolutions, and there are developments in different countries, but none of them serve as a model for us. This model is an Ankara consensus, a Turkey consensus, a Turkish model; it is a model of peace that will set an example for the whole world. Here, there was not peace but conflict; in other countries, there were ethnic clashes, religious and sectarian conflicts."
İYİ Party Bursa Deputy Yüksel Selçuk Türkoğlu reacted to Gül's statement, saying, "Not conflict, but the fight against terrorism."
"WHERE MOTHERS WIN, EVERYONE WILL WIN"
Gül stated that the "Framework Law" proposal is an important step for ending terrorism and strengthening social integration, emphasizing that Turkey has faced an economic cost of 2.3 trillion dollars due to terrorism, and that with the end of terrorism, resources will be directed towards production, employment, and investments.

In his speech on his behalf, YENİ YOL Party İzmir Deputy Mustafa Bilici used the following statements:

Thanking President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, TBMM Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş, political party leaders and deputies, as well as families of martyrs and veterans for their contributions to the "Framework Law" process, Bilici said, "I sincerely believe we will evaluate this historic opportunity with our nation's common conscience, and I state that I will vote 'yes' to this draft law of which I am a signatory."
