The possibility of a ceasefire between the US-Israel and Iran, along with the realization of diplomatic talks, has led to a drop in oil prices. The price of diesel was reduced by 5.47 lira per liter at midnight. Following this reduction, the price of diesel fell below 70 lira per liter.
Developments in global markets continue to reflect on fuel prices. While the ongoing war between the US-Israel and Iran affects oil prices, expectations of a ceasefire have pulled brent oil down, which has been reflected as a discount at the pump.
NEW DISCOUNT OF 5.47 LIRA ON DIESEL
Following the recent declines in gasoline and diesel, another discount has been applied to diesel prices. With the regulation effective as of Friday, March 27, the price of diesel per liter has decreased by 5.47 lira.
No changes have been made to gasoline prices.
DIESEL DROPPED BELOW 70 LIRA
After the discount, the price of diesel per liter has fallen to 68.49 lira in Istanbul, 69.76 lira in Ankara, and 70.03 lira in Izmir.
Gasoline prices, on the other hand, have remained at 62.38 lira in Istanbul, 63.49 lira in Ankara, and 63.76 lira in Izmir.
