Galatasaray found Inter's offer of 35 million euros for Wilfried Singo insufficient. The yellow-reds are demanding at least 50 million euros for the experienced player.
Wilfried Singo, transferred to Super League giant Galatasaray from Ligue 1 club Monaco for a 30 million Euro transfer fee, has caught the radar of European giants with his outstanding performance and physical quality. Despite unfortunate injuries, the 23-year-old right-back, who makes a difference every minute he is on the field and impressed at the World Cup, received a serious offer from Italy.
35 MILLION EURO FROM INTER FOR SINGO
Serie A giant Inter verbally offered Galatasaray 35 million Euro to include Singo in their squad. However, the yellow-red management rejected this proposal without a second thought for the successful player that head coach Okan Buruk wants to keep in the squad.
REQUIRED AMOUNT ANNOUNCED
The management informed Singo's agent that they have set the player's transfer fee at a minimum of 50 million Euro and that no offer below this amount will be considered. Inter, maintaining their persistent stance, is expected to increase the figure and come to the table with a new offer soon.
FIRST CHOICE SALLAI
If the Italian team raises their offer to the level Galatasaray expects, the likelihood of the transfer happening will strengthen. Through a potential sale of Singo, the yellow-reds aim to both secure a significant transfer revenue and free up space in the foreign player quota. If Singo leaves, the first choice for right-back will be Roland Sallai; behind him, domestic options like Arda Okan Kurtulan from Göztepe will be considered.
IF SINGO LEAVES, LUCUMI WILL COME
The freed foreign player slot will be used for the center-back position. The priority target for the yellow-reds is Jhon Lucumi, who plays for Bologna and is Davinson Sanchez's partner in the Colombia National Team. Lucumi, entering the final year of his contract, is planned to be transferred for a fee of approximately 15 million Euro.
