Turkish industry and German technology can work together to build world-class railways, according to the head of a German rail trade group.
"Let's built infrastructure and trains in Turkey and equip them with German technology partly made in Turkey," Axel Schuppe, head of the German Railway Industry Association (VDB), told Anadolu Agency.
Schuppe added that the German railway industry is willing to set up partnerships with countries like Turkey.
"Turkey is a huge country with a population of over 80 million with huge organizations in Istanbul, Ankara, and the eastern part of the country," he said.
Highlighting that the two countries enjoy good cooperation, Schuppe said: "Let's continue that." -
