İskenderunspor has signed a 1.5-year contract with Gökhan Zan as the new head coach in the 2nd League White Group. In a statement from the club, it was expressed that this agreement is hoped to be beneficial.
The new head coach of İskenderunspor, one of the teams in the Nesine 2nd League White Group, is Gökhan Zan. According to the statement made by the club, a 1.5-year contract has been signed with the experienced coach.
OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCED
The statement included, "A contract has been signed with our city's son, esteemed coach Gökhan Zan, for 1.5 years. We wish the agreement to be beneficial for İskenderunspor and our valuable coach."
İskenderunspor, which is in 6th place with 25 points collected in 14 weeks in the Nesine 2nd League, parted ways with head coach Ayhan Öksüz by mutual agreement on November 29.

Gökhan Zan, who drew attention with his calls for help after the earthquakes on February 6, 2023, entered politics in the local elections held on March 31, 2024, one year after the earthquake.
Zan became the candidate for the Hatay Metropolitan Municipality Mayor from the Workers' Party of Turkey; the allegations of a voice recording and money negotiations that emerged during the campaign period made headlines in the country.
