Turkish fans gathered in the city of Leipzig, where the tough match will be played, and gave great support to the national team. Fans, who painted the streets in red and white and adorned them with Turkish flags, walked to the Leipzig Stadium with chants and the Mehter March.

Thousands of Turkish fans participated in the march starting from Wilhelm-Leuschner-Platz Station. Fans who participated in the march, which was a great enthusiasm, supported the national team with Turkish flags, torches, and marches. It was observed that Palestinian flags were also displayed in the organization. Chanting fans then started marching. Fans who walked about 2 kilometers reached Leipzig Stadium where the match will be played. Turks waving their star and crescent flags from the surrounding buildings supported the national team. The streets of Leipzig echoed with the Janissary March during the march.

MINISTER BAK ALSO TOOK HIS PLACE IN THE SQUARE

Minister of Youth and Sports Osman Aşkın Bak met with Turkish fans in Leipzig City Square before the match between Austria and Turkey in the 2024 European Football Championship (EURO 2024) to be played in Leipzig. Bak took a souvenir photo with Turkish fans.
