The suspect who shot and killed a person with a gun along with his father-in-law and mother-in-law in Fethiye district of Muğla, escaped after the incident.

HE TERRORIZED THE HOUSE

Özcan A, who had a disagreement with his wife's family, shot and killed his father-in-law Şükrü Aysu (53) and mother-in-law Adile Aysu (52) with a gun in their house in Kayaköy neighborhood in the morning, and then fired at Muhammet Akbaba, who was cleaning the pool in a villa, with a gun.

3 PEOPLE LOST THEIR LIVES

After the sound of gunshots, an ambulance and gendarmerie team were dispatched to the scene upon information given to the 112 Emergency Call Center by the citizens. In the initial examination they conducted at the house, it was determined that Şükrü Aysu and Adile Aysu lost their lives at the scene. Muhammet Akbaba, who was taken to the hospital with serious injuries after cleaning the pool, also lost his life at the hospital.

2 PEOPLE ARE STILL UNDER TREATMENT

It was reported that the suspect Özcan A, who shot his father-in-law, mother-in-law, and Muhammet Akbaba, also injured two people whose names have not yet been identified in another villa, and the injured are still being treated in healthcare facilities in Fethiye.

ABANDONED HIS VEHICLE AND FLED

The suspect Özcan A's vehicle, which he fled after the incident, was found abandoned in a wooded area. The gendarmerie and security forces continue their search in the area to capture the suspect.
