The cancellation lawsuit of the CHP Istanbul Provincial Congress has led to new discussions following the suspension of the management, as Gürsel Tekin, who was appointed as a trustee for a period, shared an "older brother's advice" with Berkay Gezgin; Gezgin responded to Tekin with harsh words.
On October 8, 2023, in the case filed for the cancellation of the Republican People's Party (CHP) Istanbul Provincial Congress, the court ruled with an interim decision to temporarily suspend CHP Istanbul Provincial Chairman Özgür Çelik and his administration, and appointed Gürsel Tekin as the trustee. Gürsel Tekin became the subject of discussion due to a post made by Berkay Gezgin on social media. Tekin responded to that post today with "bro advice."
GÜRSEL TEKİN: BRO ADVICE
After the congress, former CHP deputy Gürsel Tekin made a post on social media addressing Gezgin, stating, "Dear son Berkay, in politics, it is not individuals but principles that determine your path. Do not act in anger, but with reason. Do not rush; those who walk with patience and truth do not tire, do not wear out, they grow. Do not lose your heart and principles, always remember." He concluded his post with the tag "bro advice."
"HE IS THE LAST PERSON I WILL TAKE BROTHERLY ADVICE FROM IN THIS LIFE."
Berkay Gezgin responded harshly to Tekin's post. In a statement on his social media account, he used the following expressions: "The last person I will take brotherly advice from in this life is someone who tries to forcibly enter the provincial building with 5000 police, curses at the party's youth branches, says 'They are not party members,' and is so cowardly that they cannot open their tweets for comments."
