Stating that they witnessed Nevzat Bahtiyar changing his statement, Teymur said, "He was shaping his statement on this incident step by step by following the media."
"WE DO NOT EXPECT A DECISION TODAY"

"AS MEDIA, WE SHOULD BE THE VOICE OF EVERYONE"
Expressing that the family frequently blames the press, Teymur stated that she somewhat agrees with these grievances. Emphasizing that the media should serve all claims and defenses impartially, Teymur said, "I think we need to be the voice of everyone in this regard. We are obliged to convey the information that comes to us objectively."
"I BELIEVE THE MOTHER IS A VICTIM"
Sharing her personal evaluations regarding the hearing, Bedia Teymur said, "We cannot assume anyone is guilty in advance. I am particularly sensitive about the mother. I truly believe that the mother is a victim in this incident. Whether she is guilty or not is another matter. If she is guilty, I believe she was forced into it."
