The heavy hail that was effective in Iğdır blanketed Şehit Bülent Aydın Airport in white. While the runway, taxiways, and apron (PAT) areas were closed to use, the snow-fighting team started cleaning work with heavy machinery. Following the work monitored by Airport Manager Fikret Bağca, the areas were made suitable for flight operations again.
After the hail that was effective at Iğdır Martyr Bülent Aydın Airport, cleaning work was carried out with work machines on the runway, taxiways and apron areas so that flights would not be disrupted.
RUNWAY, TAXIWAYS AND APRON CLOSED
Due to the intense hail that was effective in Iğdır today, the PAT areas at Martyr Bülent Aydın Airport were closed to use. Work was initiated by the snow-fighting team and relevant personnel in the PAT areas.
AREAS READY FOR FLIGHT AGAIN
As a result of the work followed by Airport Manager Fikret Bağca, the runway, taxiways and apron areas were made suitable for flight operations again.
