The post made by a 14-year-old child in Istanbul Sultanbeyli, stating "We will start a riot in Sultanbeyli between 19.00-20.00" caused a commotion. It is alleged that the child, who was caught by the police, also leaked the identity information of Syrians under temporary protection in Turkey. The Directorate of Migration issued a statement regarding the matter without delay.

The Directorate General of Migration Management of the Ministry of Interior has made a statement regarding the allegations that the identity information of Syrians under temporary protection in Turkey has been leaked.

In the statement made on the Directorate's social media account, it was stated that there was a need to make a statement about the allegations.

DETERMINATION OF THE YEARS TO WHICH THE DATA BELONGS

The statement included the following expressions: "The relevant information has been examined and it has been determined that there are information that does not match the up-to-date information in our Directorate General of Migration. Therefore, a comprehensive investigation has been initiated to determine the years to which this data belongs, from which source it was obtained, and on which date, in order to provide accurate information to the public."

WHAT HAPPENED?

A post made on a social media account stating "We will start a riot in Sultanbeyli between 19.00-20.00" prompted the Ministry of Interior to take action. In the investigation, it was determined that the administrator of the account was a 14-year-old child, and the necessary procedures were carried out by the Istanbul Child Branch Directorate.

Furthermore, it was alleged that the identity information of Syrians under Temporary Protection was shared from the account managed by the child.
