Hatayspor President Levent Mıstıkoğlu has resigned.

Leaf fall continues at Hatayspor, which is in the relegation zone of the Trendyol Super League. Just one day after head coach Rıza Çalımbay left his position, president Levent Mıstıkoğlu also resigned.

STATEMENT FROM THE CLUB

In the statement regarding the resignation of president Levent Mıstıkoğlu from Hatayspor, the following expressions were used;

"TO THE PUBLIC! Our Club President Mr. Levent MISTIKOĞLU has decided to resign from his position. We thank all our supporters who provided support during this process and wish the best for the future of our club. Sincerely,"

FAREWELL WORDS FROM MISTIKOĞLU

Levent Mıstıkoğlu stated in his written statement that he made the decision to resign by prioritizing the interests of the club. Expressing that he made this decision as a result of a long and careful evaluation, Mıstıkoğlu noted the following;

"During my time in office, we worked hard with our board of directors, technical team, and players to ensure that our Atakaş Hatayspor reaches the place it deserves. However, I believe that a different management is needed for the future of our club during this process. I consider it a duty to thank the great Hatayspor supporters, club employees, players, and our valuable technical team who have never withheld their support during this time."

He thanked the city protocol and all stakeholders who supported him while carrying out this duty and emphasized that he would continue to stand by Hatayspor, stating, "I hope that this decision of mine will be a new beginning for our Atakaş Hatayspor to achieve a stronger structure. I will always wholeheartedly support the successes of our club. I firmly believe that Atakaş Hatayspor will achieve greater victories in the Super League."

RIZA ÇALIMBAY ALSO PARTED WAYS A DAY EARLIER

After the 3-1 defeat against Adana Demirspor, which has anchored at the bottom of the league at home, Hatayspor mutually agreed to part ways with head coach Rıza Çalımbay yesterday. Under Rıza Çalımbay's management, Hatayspor played 12 official matches in the Super League this season, achieving 1 victory, 5 draws, and 6 defeats.

HATAYSPOR'S STATUS IN THE LEAGUE

Hatayspor has managed to collect 9 points with 1 victory, 6 draws, and 9 defeats in the 16 matches played in the Trendyol Super League. The Mediterranean team is currently in 18th place, following Adana Demirspor, which is at the bottom of the league.
