In Diyarbakır, A.Ş. shot and killed Evin Demirtaş, whom he had separated from after living together with a religious marriage, by firing repeatedly at her on the street. It was revealed that A.Ş. had waited for about 2 hours in a café on the street where Demirtaş would pass, and the moment of the murder was recorded second by second by a security camera. The incident occurred in the evening hours in the Huzurevleri neighborhood of the Kayapınar district. According to allegations, A.Ş. and Evin Demirtaş lived together for a while with a religious marriage before separating. It is claimed that A.Ş. followed Demirtaş after she rejected his reconciliation offer and began waiting on the street where she would pass. After sitting in a café on the street for about 2 hours, A.Ş. approached Demirtaş when he saw her and pulled out the gun he had brought with him. At that moment, Demirtaş noticed the weapon and tried to escape. However, during the chase, Demirtaş collapsed to the ground as A.Ş. fired repeatedly. The attacker A.Ş. fled the scene, and upon the notification of the surrounding people, health and police teams were dispatched to the area. Upon inspection, it was determined that Demirtaş had lost her life. Demirtaş's body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institution for autopsy. Meanwhile, the moments when A.Ş. waited in the café and fired repeatedly at Demirtaş were captured by security cameras. A search operation was initiated to capture the fleeing suspect.
