Every day in Istanbul, there is an incident involving a city thug. Most recently, citizens barely saved a man who was assaulted in the middle of the street in Mecidiyeköy.

In an incident that occurred around 10:30 PM last night, Volkan Ş. called B.Ş., who is his father's former business partner. The 68-year-old man was lured outside by Volkan Ş. with the words, "I need you, you are like a father to me," indicating that he wanted to take a walk together. The individual, who was reportedly under the influence of drugs, attacked B.Ş. with kicks and punches in an alley.

RAN AWAY SAYING "I WILL KILL ALL OF YOU"

The unfortunate man, whose face was covered in blood, was rescued from the assailant by the intervention of passing citizens. Volkan Ş. fled the scene while threatening, "I will kill you, your children, and your grandchildren."

"HE WANTS THE SHOP"

After receiving necessary medical attention at the hospital, B.Ş. was given a report of the assault. Expressing concern for his and his family's safety, the individual stated that the assailant's issue was money, saying, "He claims that the shop, which is under my ex-wife's name, should belong to them. My relationship with his father, who is my former partner, was good; we had no issues. After his father's death, they got into a dispute over the inheritance and are claiming rights from me. Legally, there is no basis for this claim. This individual is a substance abuser, and his family says they cannot handle him. Our safety is under threat; I have filed a complaint against him."
