A person who went to a silversmith with his girlfriend in Izmir opened fire on the silversmith with a pump-action shotgun. The shopkeeper, who was seriously injured in the attack, died at the hospital where he was taken. SHOT THE SILVERSMITH WITH A SHOTGUNThe incident took place on Menderes Street in Şirinyer neighborhood of Buca district. According to the information obtained, silversmith Hasan Çınar (45) was attacked with a pump-action shotgun by B.T., who came to the shop with his girlfriend. After the attack, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene upon the notification of the surrounding citizens. DIED AT THE HOSPITALShopkeeper Hasan Çınar, who was seriously injured in the attack, was taken to Buca Seyfi Demirsoy Education and Research Hospital by ambulance. Despite all the interventions made at the hospital, the unfortunate man could not be saved. B.T., who fled the scene, was caught near the shop where he committed the murder with the weapon by the police teams. HE WAS WORKING IN THE OPPOSITE SHOPMeanwhile, it was learned that B.T., who was taken into custody, had worked at a jewelry store located just across from Hasan Çınar's silver shop for a while and left his job due to psychological problems. It was also stated that the suspect has a criminal record for intentional injury, threat, insult, resisting arrest, and drug offenses. The suspect was taken to the Homicide Bureau of the Public Security Branch Directorate to give his statement. An investigation has been launched regarding the incident.
