Police officer Erkan Tütüncüler, who was martyred in the Çorlu district of Tekirdağ, was laid to rest. The moment when the martyr's wife, Eda Tütüncüler, shouldered the coffin together with her son marked the ceremony. The body of Emrah Koç, who was also martyred in the same attack, was sent to Van.
A ceremony was held for police officer Erkan Tütüncüler, who was martyred in an armed and knife attack in the Çorlu district of Tekirdağ. The moments when the martyr's wife, Eda Tütüncüler, along with her son Ege Miraç, shouldered her husband's coffin, were heartbreaking.
Police officer Erkan Tütüncüler was martyred in the armed and knife attack carried out by Orhan A., who was allegedly under a court order for treatment in Çorlu. The first ceremony for the martyred police officer was held in front of the Çorlu District Police Department.
HEAVY ATTENDANCE AT THE FUNERAL CEREMONY
After the ceremony at the police department, the martyrs' bodies were taken to the Hacı Mehmet Şirikçi Mosque in Çorlu.
After the noon prayer, the funeral prayer was attended by;

- 5th Corps Commander Major General Mehmet Cafer Aksoytürk
- Members of Parliament
- Mayors
- Families of martyrs
- Many citizens.
The funeral prayer was led by Tekirdağ Deputy Mufti Yusuf Bektaş.
SHE SHOULDERED HER HUSBAND'S COFFIN
After the prayer, the coffins wrapped in the Turkish flag were carried on shoulders to the funeral vehicle. During this time, Eda Tütüncüler, mother of one child, along with her son Ege Miraç, went to the side of her martyred husband's coffin and lent a shoulder. At the ceremony, where emotional moments were experienced, citizens could not hold back their tears. Martyred police officer Erkan Tütüncüler was then laid to rest in the Çorlu Martyrs' Cemetery.
FUNERAL SENT TO VAN
The body of Emrah Koç, who was martyred in the same attack, was sent from the Çorlu Airfield Command to his hometown Van by plane. It was learned that Martyr Koç would be laid to rest there.
