In the Çalköy Seyrek neighborhood of Kandıra district in Kocaeli, Ferhat Y (45), who went into the sea at night despite his friends' warning, was not heard from after a while. Ferhat Y was searched by his friends and relatives.

FOUND SHREDDED 4 HOURS LATER

After about 4 hours of search, fishermen found a male body on the water surface, and brought the shredded body to the shore.

COULD HAVE BEEN HIT BY A BOAT PROPELLER

Upon the fishermen's report, health, Coast Guard Command, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the area. It was reported that the stain on the leg of the body, which was considered to have been shredded as a result of being hit by a boat propeller, could belong to Ferhat Y. The body was taken to the morgue of Kandıra State Hospital for autopsy.
