While the two friends were walking and chatting, Burhan A. did not notice the 3-meter deep pit in front of him due to the darkness and fell in. After walking for a while, Sayın realized that his friend was not with him and, unable to find him, called 112. Upon the report, health, police, and fire teams were dispatched to the scene. The police teams determined that Burhan Ç. had fallen into the pit during their search of the area. Burhan Ç., who was rescued from the pit by the fire department, was handed over to the health teams. The moments of the two friends, who could not let go of each other for minutes in the ambulance, were captured on camera, while the health workers had difficulty convincing them to separate. Slightly injured Burhan Ç. was transferred to Çekirge State Hospital, while his friend, İbrahim Sayın, was taken to the police station for a statement.
