During the match played at Eryaman Stadium, the moments when a Gençlerbirliği fan bullied the 3-4-year-old child, who was next to his father, because of the Fenerbahçe jersey he was wearing, became a topic of discussion on social media.
In the footage, a police officer is seen picking up the little child and taking him to a safe area. It was learned that an examination of the footage revealed no physical contact with the child.
In the footage, the hooligan is seen walking towards the little child and frightening him even though he was in the police officer's arms, and it appears he would have resorted to physical violence against the little child if he had not been stopped by those around him and if he had the opportunity.
THE CAPTURED HOOLIGAN AT THE COURTHOUSE
Within the scope of the investigation launched upon the instruction of the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, Şener Akdemir, who was identified as the one who reacted to the child, was apprehended by police teams.
In a statement made by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was said: "In the incident that occurred during the Gençlerbirliği-Fenerbahçe Turkish Super League match played at Eryaman Stadium in our city, where a young child was forced to take off his jersey; an investigation has been initiated against the suspect under Article 6222 and Article 109/3-f of Law 5237, and a detention order has been issued. It is presented to the public's knowledge."
It was learned that the detained suspect was referred to the courthouse after his procedures.
