The incident occurred yesterday in the garden of Taşlıdere Gazi School in Taşlıdere Neighborhood. A. Kasap, a 2nd-grade student, was playing in the garden after school when the sliding iron gate fell on him. The child, who was trapped under the iron gate, suffered injuries to his foot and head. Health teams, alerted by those nearby, arrived at the scene and took the little boy to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University Training and Research Hospital by ambulance. A fracture was detected in the child's foot during treatment. An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident, while mother Sevinç Kasap filed a complaint against the school administration.

Sevinç Kasap said, "I used to warn my child, 'Don't go anywhere.' I wish it had happened outside and not in the schoolyard. My child fell, an ambulance came, and a friend informed me. I was shocked when I saw my child like that. My child ended up like this due to negligence. I will file a lawsuit every time he sighs. My child's foot is broken, his head is injured, the back of his ear is very bad, and he cries while sleeping," she said.
