M.A., who lives in Adana, has been missing since leaving home last March. Unable to get any results from the searches, M.A.'s family filed a missing person report. Adana Chief Public Prosecutor's Office initiated an investigation considering M.A.'s disappearance as suspicious. Police teams investigating the places where M.A. could go determined that he went to his nephew F.D.'s house in Aziziye Neighborhood of Ereğli district in Konya. The teams, who met with F.D., who runs a farm here, put him under surveillance due to his suspicious and inconsistent statements.

HE CONFESSED EVERYTHING DURING INTERROGATION

F.D. was taken into custody with the raid conducted by Adana Public Security Branch Homicide Bureau teams together with the teams affiliated with Ereğli District Gendarmerie Command this morning. During the interrogation, F.D. confessed that he shot and killed his uncle after a dispute and buried him in the field on the farm. M.A.'s body was excavated at the location shown by F.D. and sent to the forensic medicine institution. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
