The person who threw Atatürk's portrait on the ground and spat on it before stepping on it was arrested in the court he was brought to. The Antalya Police Department shared a photo of the foreign national handcuffed from behind in front of a portrait of Atatürk.

A foreign national who entered a tire shop in Antalya took a tag hanging at the door, which featured an image of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, showed it to the shop owner with a mocking attitude, and asked why it was hanging at the door. He then threw the tag on the ground, spilled the water in his mouth, and stomped on it multiple times with his foot.

HE WAS PHOTOGRAPHED IN HANDCUFFS IN FRONT OF ATATÜRK'S PICTURE

Meanwhile, 20-year-old Mehmet Can Sevinç, who was trying to understand what was happening, jumped over the counter and intervened as soon as he realized the situation. Seeing Sevinç rushing towards him, a person identified as A.A. began to run away from the shop. Before he could get far, he was caught and detained. It was learned that A.A. was a foreign national, and he was photographed in handcuffs in front of the Atatürk picture at the police station, and after processing, he was referred to the courthouse and arrested.
