The driver, Tülin K., who got out of the vehicle with the help of citizens, was treated as an outpatient. During the check, it was determined that the driver was drunk; a fine of 25 thousand lira was imposed, and her driver's license was suspended for 6 months. After hitting a pole in Beşiktaş, the car driven by the driver, who was learned to have panicked and pressed the accelerator instead of the brake, fell into the garden of the building. Judicial proceedings were initiated against the driver on the charge of “endangering traffic safety.”

On Sunday, April 19, at around 19:30 in Balmumcu Neighborhood, the car with license plate 34 KMH 447, driven by Tülin K., hit a pole at the roadside while maneuvering. The car driven by the driver, who was learned to have panicked and pressed the accelerator instead of the brake, went backwards and fell into the garden of the building, which is about 3 meters deep.
CITIZENS RUSHED TO HELP
Citizens who saw the accident ran into the garden to help the driver. Upon the report, medical, fire brigade, and police teams were dispatched to the scene. It was learned that Tülin K., who was treated on an outpatient basis by medical teams, was in good health. After fire brigade teams took the necessary safety measures, the car was removed from where it was.

Selahattin Demirtaş, who witnessed the accident, said that while he was sitting in front of the hospital, the car first hit something, and then the driver panicked and came backwards. Demirtaş said, “After that, a few citizens and I came together. We opened three doors of the car. The woman was badly stuck. We moved the seat and so on. The woman got out herself. No, she was fine, she was quite fine.”
HER LICENSE WAS SUSPENDED FOR 6 MONTHS
During a check by police teams, it was determined that the driver was drunk. Tülin K. was fined 25 thousand lira under the article “driving while drunk,” and her license was suspended for 6 months. The driver, for whom judicial proceedings were initiated on the charge of “endangering traffic safety,” was released after procedures at the police station.
