In the Çatalzeytin district of Kastamonu, one person was killed and two were injured in a fight involving gunfire. During the brawl, a house and a vehicle were set on fire and burned.
A dispute between two neighbors in the Çatalzeytin district of Kastamonu ended in bloodshed.
THE FIGHT ENDED IN BLOOD
The incident occurred in the Güneşler village of the Çatalzeytin district in Kastamonu. According to the information obtained, a verbal argument began between 62-year-old S.T. and his 64-year-old neighbor Yakup Açıkgöz for an unknown reason. In the incident, which quickly grew into a fight, S.T. fired the gun he had with him and shot his neighbor Yakup Açıkgöz. Açıkgöz, who was the target of the bullets, tragically lost his life at the scene. During the scuffle and the armed attack, a citizen named E.F. was also injured.
THE HORROR OF ARSON AFTER THE MURDER
Immediately after the murder, the attacker S.T., who continued to spread terror, set fire to the house and car of Yakup Açıkgöz, who had lost his life. As the flames grew rapidly, great panic broke out at the scene. In the fire caused by the arson, a person named D.A., who was trapped among the flames, suffered severe burns on his body.
TEAMS WERE MOBILIZED AND THE SUSPECT WAS CAUGHT
Upon the reports made by the citizens in the area to the 112 Emergency Call Center, many gendarmerie, fire brigade, and medical teams were dispatched to Güneşler village. After providing first aid to the injured E.F. and D.A. at the scene, medical personnel took them to the hospital by ambulances. As a result of the intense efforts of the fire brigade teams, the flames were brought under control and extinguished, but the vehicle set on fire was completely unusable, and the house suffered extensive material damage.
Following the horrifying moments, the suspect S.T. was caught red-handed and taken into custody by the gendarmerie teams. The gendarmerie teams, who took extensive security measures in the village to prevent a new incident, are continuing their investigation into the bloody fight.
