14-year-old B.B.B., who went missing after sharing a farewell video on Snapchat in Şırnak, was found alive in an empty construction site following an overnight search by police.
According to the information obtained, B.B.B. (14), who was reported missing yesterday, shared a video on the social media platform Snapchat before disappearing, containing the statements: "As you know, I will no longer exist. In a few hours, I will be permanently gone. This is my last snap." Following the post, upon the notification of his family, the Şırnak Provincial Police Department went on alert.
89 POLICE SEARCHED FOR HIM ALL NIGHT
In operations personally coordinated by Provincial Police Chief Volkan Sazak, a total of 89 officers, including 20 teams with foot patrols, conducted searches across all parts of the city throughout the night.
Abandoned buildings, parks, empty lots, and all suspicious points were checked one by one, while the entrances and exits of the city center were also secured by security forces.
FOUND ALIVE IN THE MORNING
As a result of the meticulous work of police teams lasting hours, B.B.B. was found alive at around 06:00 in the morning today in an empty building on 1243rd Street in the central Gündoğdu neighborhood. During initial checks, it was learned that the child's health condition was good and no negative signs were found. Thanks to the coordinated efforts carried out throughout the night, the missing child was found safe and sound and handed over to his family.
The Şırnak Provincial Police Department stated that all resources are mobilized for the peace and safety of citizens in missing person cases, and highlighted the importance of reporting such incidents to the 112 Emergency Call Center and security units without delay.
