Following the incident, Beşiktaş fans called on the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) to apply Article 41 of the disciplinary regulations due to the player's post.

The following statements are included in Article 41 of the football disciplinary regulations:

Those who insult, curse, threaten, or attack personal rights against TFF or its members, match officials, players, managers, or other relevant clubs and individuals, and carry out these actions through press and media or social media;

(a) Players shall be suspended for 2 to 5 matches; if the acts are directed at match officials, the suspension shall be for 3 to 7 matches.
